It might sound cliche but, I always had a love for photography. It didn't matter what I was photographing, I just had to take a pictures of it. I began my photography journey in 2013. I bought my first DSLR Canon camera and didn't know how to use it; which editing programs to use, and how to use them. I was so determined to pursue my photography career and so, I taught myself everything I know thus far. I spent hours on YouTube watching tutorials, and spent more hours looking up photographers and reading. So much reading! I can't say that I am an expert in the field now because it is so important to learn new things as I go, but I do feel pretty confident in my craft and what I have to offer.
Over time, I perfected my editing skills to portray the type of feel that I want to project when people see my work.
More about my work
Over the years, I've come to realize the importance of this type of work. It is the same reason why I always hound my kids to take their pictures, our pictures. It's because I am documenting life. A special moment in your life. A random moment in your life. A planned moment in your life. And, I say moment because in all the years that we are on this Earth, whether it be long or short, your event is but a moment. Having me document that moment will last you years! It is a generational investment because you're not only documenting this time for yourself, but its so that you can hand these memories down to your children, your grandchildren, and then their children and grandchildren. I am keen to not delivering you just beautiful, documented images, but images that will become part of your family's ancestral history. Yes, I think that far when it comes to my work.
If any of this resonates with what you're hoping to get from me, contact me here and tell me your story. I'd love to work with you.
facts about me, your photographer
I love, love, love the beach. The feeling of being in the water, weightless, with your eyes closed while the sun is feeding you radiation. lol.
I can be sarcastic, sometimes.
I am an introvert, a homebody. I like to engage with others during social outings, but only for a while. When I feel like I've used up a lot of energy socializing, I need to go home and relax.
