FAQ

Where are you from, and where are you located? Do you travel?

I was born and raised in American Samoa. I moved around after high school and lived in Oahu and Texas. Sometimes, I think of myself as a nomad itching to go to the next place.

I am now located in Utah. Unfortunately, at this time I do not travel.

What type of photography sessions do you offer?

I am accepting bookings for families, couples, maternity, and individual portraits.
Please contact me regarding weddings.

How do we book a session with you?

If you are ready to secure and book and a date with me, I will send you a contract with terms and booking information. Once a contract is signed and the deposit is received, your date is secured.

Why do I need to pay a deposit?

A deposit is important for both the client and the photographer. Its security for the client in the way that the booking/date cannot otherwise be given away to anyone else. For the photographer, it is security for us in case a client wants to cancel their booking and we lose out on any other booking wanting the same date. With that being said, a deposit is not refundable.

Do we really need to sign a contract?

Yes. I will not move forward if the contract is not signed. It is a commitment like any other contract for anything else, and it shows me that you are serious about moving forward. It protects yourself, the client, and us photographers as a business. I will not document an important life occasion without one. A contract also serves as an understanding between the client and the photographer, and expectations that will and should be met before, during, and after a session.

How many pictures will I get?

The amount of photos you receive is dependent on the package you are booking for.
(I will go more into details about the amount of images you receive in the booking pdf that is sent out with the contract. You can also visit my Investment page for smaller packages.)

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery link via email with all your photos within a maximum of 2-3 weeks. For weddings, it will be within a maximum of 4-6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

Do you have an online gallery?

You will receive an online gallery link via email with all your photos

Can I make a change to my package?

It is respectful if any changes that need to be made is communicated weeks in advance, or as soon as possible. I will always try and accommodate any necessary changes as best as I can if I am notified within a reasonable amount of time.
(I will go more into details about changes and cancellations to your sessions in the booking pdf that is sent out with the contract.)

Will I get copies of raw photos?

No. It is important for me as a photographer to deliver quality edited images. Handing out raw photos also has the potential of someone re-editing my images which will be offensive to my hard work.

What equipment do you use?

I photograph with a Canon DSLR camera.

How often do you change your packages and prices?

Right now, I change my packages every 12 months depending on how business is going and the upgrades I’ve made to and for my work.
